Promoting the life and times of Mary, Queen of Scots

Visit – Coventry, 3 Jul 16

A visit is proposed to Coventry on Sunday 3rd July when a local guide has been hired to take the group round the Guildhall and past the Whitefriars where Mary is reputed to have spent some time. The tour taking about 1.5 hours. A replica of Elizabeth’s should be available on show.
Meet at 2.00pm on the Cathedral steps.
Should you require lunch before the tour the following establishments should be open for you:

Cathedral cafe
Drapers Bar, Earl Street
Playwrights Bar, Hay Lane

Alison has not arranged a meal afterwards so that members can get a reasonable start for home.
